Floating Single Engine Airplane

and in regards to helicopters, I recently "heard" one of the sound cancellation devices in use on a helicopter... either that, or it was a real quiet copter...

it sounded like it was way up in the air, but when i went outside, i could see it was less than 200-300ft up, with a searchlight, looking for someone/something in the next neighborhood.
it was probably a police helicopter, but it made me think back to the movie "blue thunder"...
wasn't that quiet, but did the job...

I call it the ghost plane, the two times I have seen it it was moving and it was definitely silent and white with no markings, it flew almost like a real plane but a bit like a crop duster and it was no crop duster for sure, there were no other sounds in the area and it definitely was silent ! thank you for posting about it, I tell others and it just doesn't mean much or people think I just didn't accurately record the event in my mind, I saw what I saw and it was reeeeeal weird !!
