So you are one of those that have sex and go?
That must of suck to not now a person alot for a long time.
Marriages are for people who could keep comitmente to each other and you must not know how to be truthful.

i think people should be able to marry each other whatever. Thing that makes me laugh about homophobic people is that 2 women are ok, but not 2 men, isnt that double standards?

While not a homophobe...(what are they gonna do, sneak in and redecorate my house???)

I will agree with the above statement...seeing two women together is cool, but seeing 2 guys goin' at it sickens me personally, hehe...and yes, it is a double standard, but that's something I have no problem with

Some here may recall that my brother is gay. Personally, if they want to get married, so be it. There are other legal, and financial benefits of marriage as well, and there is no reason that I can see for denying someone those benefits, just because they have a different sexual orientation....

*tsk tsk* double standards. I personally think same sex, regardless if its female-female or male-male getting it on sickens me. I have a few gay friends from both sexes, I don't approve of their lifestyle but I wouldn't hate them for it or dicriminate against them.

A girl can refer to her girl pal as a girlfriend regardless of whether or not the g.f. is gay or not.

But a guy cannot refer to his guy pal as a boyfriend without people assuming they're gay.

No, I think you misunderstood me, and I don't blame you... maybe I should have been clearer.

No, Im not one of those that just "have sex and go". I can get to know a girl and be truthful to her without swearing that I will in front of a God I really don't know if I believe(agnostic). If I where a religious person I would probably feel that I had to get married before I continued my life with the one I truly loved, but I'm not... so I dont see the point. Sure, there are economical advantages, but I don't see any point beyond that. I will probably get married once myself to, if my girl really want to, but I personally don't see why I should.

I am not one of those who likes to run around #ing everyone I can get my hands on without caring about being truthful, thats not why I don't want to get married... It's just that I dont see why I should. It would feel so fake to be standing there in a church or a town hall if I don't see why Im doing it, except from the fact that everyone else does it. I would much rather wander into the woods with my true love, and announce to her there that I will be truthful to her... and the birds and the trees will be my witnesses. I don't see why that shouldn't be enough.

But if my future love is a christian, I will of course not argue with her if she want to declare her love in front of her god.

I have no problem with gay people getting married since its not my life. It's theirs.

And nobody, I dont care who you are should stand in the way of 2 people who are happy and in love to get married. No matter what sexual preference they have.

I swear people need to cut this "homophobic" # out.

Aye, generally it's socially more acceptable for women to have more intimacy between each other and not be questioned.

I don't have anything wrong with gay marriages or gay people in general, albeit it's not a lifestyle I could imagine following but I don't mind it.

Doesn't seem ironic how being lesbian is considered fine and whatnot, but being gay is considered a terrible sin?

Saying that, there's nothing wrong with lesbians

There's no help for it. It is human nature to be hypocrites. They can say that being gay is evil, sinful and be totally fine with watching lesbian porn. To be honest, I think homosexual is part of nature. After all, there are plenty of homosexual animals. I wonder if people are going to accuse of gay animals as evil?

If people want to ban homosexual people from marrying, they should also banned heterosexual people from marriage. After all, everyone should have equal rights. If not, many problems would occur. Homophobic people would start using it as an excuse to attack homosexual people. At first, they would verbally attack and sooner or later they would start to physically attack them. And then, there will soon be people being beaten to death.

If we are not careful, we might risk a repeat of Hitler; instead of Jewish people being murdered, it's homosexual people that will be massacred. The possibility of this scenario happening is pretty high considering that in some countries people was killed just for being homosexual.

Legal Marriage - - is a government contract between two (hopefully consenting) people - - to protect rights and property of those joining as one household.

That's it.

Any romantic or religious concept - - is irrelevant. As neither have any right to affect a government contract.
