I'm not necessarily of the mind that Earth is fragile. It has, after all, handled a great many cataclysmic events in the past and none have "killed" the planet, regardless of how detrimental those events may have been to certain species.

Some might find this presentation somewhat tedious, but it is informative.

I agree that our planet is resilient - but - our biosphere is also fragile.

And one of the more fragile things on earth is human culture and society. I doubt existent cultures will survive massive or rapid climate change.

No doubt government funded think tanks have considered the issue.

So where are the reports?

Are we to sit quietly while our tax dollars go towards protecting the survival of the well-connected elite?
