US space agency Nasa has detected a technical problem with a sensor on the external fuel tank of space shuttle Atlantis hours before take-off.

yet more problems for the shuttle, there were about to let it launch even though there were still problems and worries over one of the power cells, with all these constant problems that are popping up surely it has to be asked though is it worth spending any more cash on this spacecraft instead of shelving it and concentrating on the next generation and making sure that one is built properly and not as buggy as this one?

NASA won't retire the Shuttle this year. They haven't wasted enough money on ISS yet.

i totally agree about the iss, they should have built a moon base instead and gained experience from living on other surfaces as well as using it as a stepping stone to mars.
