News just breaking here in Australia that Peter Brock - Car Racer, Racing in a Targa event in Western Australia has just been killed.
The 2nd famous Australian in 3 days to die this week!!

I just heard this too in the office.
Tragic.

I cant beleive it!
Another famous aussie tragically gone.

With all the toasts im making to fallen icons, applauding there value to the genepool im going to be pretty drunk this weekends.

Geeeeeez whats going on?

Brockie might not have been well known globally but he sure was an Aussie icon,i thought he retired from racing for good.

Just saw it on the TV they said Peter Brock feared dead.they comfirmed one person dead but did`nt comfirm who.

Sad indeed, i'll be going out and lightin' up the tires in remembrance tonight followed by a few ales in memory of Steve and Brocky.

Rest in Peace Peter Brock!
I guess, he too died what he loved doing best.....Racing!
Hit a tree, I think!
He was retired though.....The passenger was hurt and is in hospital.

Yeah you got that right Helen,sad part about it is if he was racing on a track it would be highly unlikely to be fatal.

Another true legend it their field gone,sad indeed.

I used to organize his gas deliveries, he was a lovely man and will be greatly missed.
Such a shame
