Alright I used a bit of improper grammar there sorry I should have said "..a film showing that..."

You are still missing the point here, even inserting that would not change anything.

The film shows no killing, all it contains are allegations that they took place.

As for the UN report, well it would appear they could find nothing since they have not mentioned it in almost three years. You do realize that this allegedly took place 3 years ago if not longer don't you?

War IS hell, so what's the problem? This is a war, correct? The Taliban hourbored admitted terroists, and denied to turn them over or oust them, correct? As hard as it sounds there are no innocents in war, only losers. That is why war is serious buisness. Not police actions or what ever words may sanitise it.

nephyx, I so wish you were in my area.

I have some experience with know it all kids, and I know exactly how to set them straight. A 3 day getaway from civilization cures such "opinions" real quick.

'shots' keep changing his name, and pushes his typical war monger "tone", so what else is new.

As far as atrocities, they happen every single day, we just don't get to see them on TV. After Nam they know that if they let media show how it is, people would get "upset".

shots, are you sure you're not from Tacoma? I lived in Seattle and haven't came by personalities such as yours. You get my drift.

An here we go, yet another "war is hell" cop-out.

Ikema, how about this, when you get shot at, when you see blood, when your good friends are sent home in zinc boxes, while others blow their heads of because they can't come to terms with what they did to innocent people, then you can say war is hell.

Until then, you have NO RIGHT to say "war is hell".

For the stupid people let me put it another way. It's like a virgin saying how great sex is. You get my drift.

What are you talking about I have not changed my name or anyone else's.
I dislike war just as much as most do. Likewise I also find it despicable when people post what I think are outright lies or misinformation if you will.

Again what are you talking about? This has nothing to do with personalities or where I live. All I have posted in this thread was directed at the misinformation posted as fact in the misleading title.

War At Home And Abroad

Please, we don't have to snap at one another over this.

I do think the title is misleading. Would it be okay for me to change it to this?

Proposed title:

A film alleging U.S special forces killed over 3000 Afghans detainees and buried them!!!

I think that's reasonable.

Meanwhile, I'm not seeing a lot of proof behind the charges, but I don't feel comfortable with dismissing them out of hand.

Can anyone provide additional corroboration of the allegations being made here?

If there were any truth to this the "New York Times" would have been all over this story. Spreading disinformation to the enemies civilian population is part of war. The truly sad part is how many people are gullible enough to buy into it. I guess that is why they do it. They know they can count on gullible people to buy into it and the lying journalists to sensationalize it to line their pockets. The terrorists most powerful weapon are the people who want to believe these stories are true. They count on you to do their dirty work for them. After you are done they can walk in unopossed and do whatever they want. They know this and are using it quite effectively. Get ready for sore knees when they are standing over your back with a gun making you pray to Allah. If you don't believe that is their goal; I've got a bridge in Brooklyn I'd love to sell you. If you are willing to take their side you had better be ready to serve under them. The only free speach will be them telling you what to do.

So do I that is far better then the current title.

Do not hold your breath on that, it allegedly happened over three years if not longer and no one has come up with anything other then allegations and they claim they know where the graves. That alone kind of makes one go hmmmmm.

One would think if they know where the graves are, they would dig up the proof and have autopsies done, but that does not appear to have been done. Again I ask why not?

Also check the video that souljah posted and check out the video at 7:20 into the video do those teeth appear to be human to you? Pay special attion to the molars and their length I have never seen any human moalrs like that. Have you? Then at aprox 8:20 note the same teeth shown on a monitor in the background and their size in relation to the object in the background. Frankly it appears that who ever did the video tried to make them out to be human when in fact they are not. I am just guessing here, I want to make that clear, but they appear to be very strange for a human if they are in fact human.

The title is a bald faced lie. What happened to the rules on ATS. Why is it still up. That film shows no such thing.

Why is everyone up in arms over this? Most of you believe the US gov had a hand in 9/11 where 3000 of thier own citizens died and dont bat an eyelid, so why care about 3000 taliban armed to kill US soldiers? If it was the other way around Al Jazeera TV would make it a Saturday night matinee for the muslim world.

Only problem I have with all this is that there were a few more empty trucks they could have used!

Dont like it? Tough! If you really want to save some innocent lives, join PETA,

And Americans wonder why the majority of the world hates us.

As far as the alleged killing here, I do have to say that it is a war, and there are no rules concerning killing the enemy. I am totally against this war and believe the US never should've went to Iraq, but we are there, so we just have to sit it out and see what happens.

What we don't need now though, is comments like the one mentioned above, as it only fuels the hatred towards America.

This is just my opinion and if anybody feels otherwise, please don't hesistate to state your own opinion.

Love and Light to all,

Pancho

Although this video may have nothing that you would call direct evidence, you still have no stronger evidence that supports your opinion that it's false information. So don't be critical, examine the so-called-facts, be rational.

There are a lot of people around here that only read the titles and never watch the video's or read what's in the linked content. There will be a lot of people who now think a video matching this description exists when it clearly does not. Deny Ignorance?????? Since when was ATS a disinfo agent for the Taliban?

I was flicking through the channels when I came upon a documentary. It was shot in Afghanistan. Mid September '01. In the documentary they captured that American kid (forgot his name). They also showed a guy from the c.i.a., "Dave", who was overseeing a bunch of northern alliance guys, trying in vain to stop air support from blowing a bunker up, as the Northern Alliance had people in there. Air support didn't listen.

Then, they showed them putting prisoners into shipping containers. Someone said they couldn't breathe, so some bright spark thought it would be a good idea to put some airholes in; with a machine gun. Dave tried to stop them, but hey. I remember one scene, when they're moving back, maybe from the air attack, jumping over dead bodies, worrying that they were booby trapped.
I didn't count them, but it was a lot of bodies. And this was in the weeks just after 9/11. Pre patriot act.

I can't remember the name of the doco (I'll try and find out), but I'm quite confident that the footage we saw of John Patrick Linde (is that his name) came from that same footage.

When the majority of the US military finally pulls out of Iraq, the Sunni and the Shi'ites will finally get busy and have their all out civil war in Iraq. Every country in Southwest Asia are recent creations. Mostly by the British hand ignoring both historic and tribal boundries when they created Iraq and every other nation over there.
These guys will kill 3,000 men, women and children in a week and the anti's will blame the US for leaving them to their own devices.
How many people did the warring Afghani tribesman(including the Taliban) kill over the years since the Soviets left?
This thread is just more anti-US propaganda being spread by the NWO elitists bent on global socialist domination.

And, not only that, but Americans are killing more than double the number of civilians that so-called "terrorists" are killing.

More Iraqi civilians killed by US forces than by Insurgents, data shows

Check the date man. That is no longer true.
Even when that article was written the number killed by insurgents was quickly rising to and now above the number killed by the coalition

War is never the answer.

Hmm....I can name a least a dozen wars where it was the answer. Most recently WW2.

When will you people learn?

What country are you from? Doesn't matter, I can pretty much guarentee your country has been involved in at least one war...

^agreed on all parts..

i love it when people say war is never the answer... ok so when Germany invaded Russia, should russia have just sat there and said, "yes ok mr hitler you can have my country"

I cannot believe all you muslim supporters didnt jump on this
anyway, even as anti-muslim as I am I will tell you they have made contributions to society.

ever hear of a form of mathematics called algebra? well guess who invented it?

a man with a name similiar to al-gebra..... perhaps al-jebra...not sure exactly what his name was. I can tell you the muslims, or at least arabs were responsible for this form of mathematics. Although why they never used it for any applications for their own society is beyond me.

coffee is a muslim invention.....stay awake during ramadan I do believe was the intention behind it.

many of the charts that the europeans obtained before making their voyages were obatined from islamic scholars. some of which, by the way are somewhat controversial. for example the piri reis map, however I believe that has been proven to be that the guy ran out of room and used the bottom part of the map
.

muslims made some contributions to society, however IMHO they are mostly detrimental to society.
