Cat lovers, are you one?!!

hi friends i want to know how many of the members here have cats, what you think about them as animals and your companions, and what names your pet cats have, if possible post a foto of them. i am a cat lover, and i colect all the cat pics i can get.
i will post mines soon also, (as soon as i can get my digital cam a friend took last week)

i have 2 a older one called Vasco(16Yo), and a yunger one called Yoda(4Yo)

I have the pleasure of having 3 cats that grace me with their company.

The two males are fixed, but my female is due in the next few days. I'll go look around and take a picture of my fat mama to post in the thread, but you have to post pics of your cats.

I woke her up and snapped a pic.



Her due date is Sept. 10th

I got her to lay on her side.
You can see she's about ready to pop.

it looks he have a very strong character, higly inteligent also. he looks also that it's the kind of cat that it's adorable/sweet, but never pass the "red line", or he will be realy nasty

anxietydisorder and Country Soul are pleased to announce the arrival of five healthy kittens.


The expectant mother spent a few hours in the sun late sunday out on the porch.




She spent a lot of time cleaning herself for the big event.




She started labour under a quilt on the bed.





We moved her to a box with towels before the bloody mess started.




Here's the five kittens after the first bedding change.




The new mom checks the kittens after the second bedding change.




Feeding time at the zoo a few hours later.





The mother and kittens are all doing well, and I'm just so happy.

She's a very dedicated mother, and seems to be caring for the newborns quite well.

I'm not really a cat guy.
HOWEVER
Several years back I witnessed a cat being thrown from the window of a moving car on a fairly busy highway. I had 2 choices. Either save the cat, or chase down the S.O.B.'s who did this and beat them senseless. I stopped the car, got out, and picked up the cat. It was parylyzed with fear. She was skinny as a rail, with cigarette burns on her belly, and her ears were burned, not to mention the scrapes and cuts from being thrown out the window. I literally thought that she would be dead in minutes. I took her straight to the Vet. I leveled with the vet, and told him that I didn't have alot of extra money, but if he could do whatever he could, I would give her a home, and make her as comfortable as I could. He gave her several shots for half price, and I took her home.
Well several years later, she is the fattest, most snuggly cat I've ever known. All she wants is to be loved. While not a true cat guy - I certainly do love this cat.

I have two cats, one of them is peaceful while the other....

Well, lets just say we named him Maow after the Chinese Dictator.

I've never known a blind cat before, so I'm curious how it gets around.

Does Bubbles find her way around the house ? (food, litter, etc...)
Does she depend on her nose and ears more than other cats ?
Does she ever go outside ?

Does she have a guide dog for assistance ?

I love cats but I cant have one as im allergic to them

That and my dog wouldnt like it.. lol
