All right, this is an experiment Ive wanted to do. Im going to make some vauge general statements based on the current state of the world, and see how many come true in a week, a month and year and so forth.

the spirits tell me:

-Scandal will erupt in the white house, some thing about money or weapons
-Many senators will be relected, but one, a lion, will lose his old seat and gain a new one
-Between two nations of diffrent faiths there will be a conflict, the air filled with fire
-The ecconomy will rise, but there will still be poor people
-A king, king only by chance will die, but his son will not take the thore, for the throne is no longer his.
-A much saught missing person will be found, near water, in a sparcely populated area, trees near by. A man with a gun will help with the recovery
-The next season of Family Guy will not be as good as the last

Ooh can I try"?

The stars dance as the earth beats
Red will defeat Blue
Blank spaces will fill the Void
The earth will sort of explode
The Tree will fall and burn
The water will spread the flames

Haha, pretty good generalisation backed by current knowledge.
Not that I don't believe in precognition, since I am precognitive,
but don't ask me what the winning lottery numbers are, if I knew
that, I'd be rich already.

I'll put my bets on the first 5 of those being correct.

That would be the correct term yes, but I think s/he's trying to show
how the so called prophets who have been claimed to prophetise the
future just used logic and forecasted things based on knowledge and
the goings on of the time.

Nice, but you need to be more poetic. Nostradamus used the quatrain, but I perfer the limerick...

when the seas of change are near,
the new star will appear,
not from left or right,
seizing chance with all might,
using pestilence, war and fear.

crash, bang, boom
some people will meet their doom
the lights in the sky
watch people cry
and this day comes pretty soon

The haikuu is also nice...

war and doom approach
war rages in the east lands
the west is hit too

the earth moves quickly
disaster strikes the cities
on the river banks
