Hello all, maybe this has been covered already but I'm wondering why isn't there a Vote "YES" and "NO" option for articles that are submitted. I mean if you can only vote yes for an article then its bound to get the however many votes it needs, so what's the point of the vote thing anyway? If all it takes is approval from the judges then why not get rid of the "vote yes" altogether?

I think Skeptic removed it because people were voting NO for odd reasons and authors were getting pissed off. I think after a certain time frame, it'll go to Current Events if it doesn't get enough YES votes.

I think the YES only votes system works well.
There are stories that are submitted and don't get the required number of votes to get upgraded. They end up in other appropriate forums.
They fact that these stories not make the grade shows that not enough members thought the story was ATSNN worthy. The current system allows that ATS members will only vote for stories they feel are worthy of being on this page:
www.atsnn.com...

As an ATSNN moderator, I think the new system DOES work.

BTW, a lack of NO votes choice actually eliminates drama, imho.
