PODcast: Woodstock Revisited - DAY 4 - August 18, 1969

On August 15th, 1969 something MAGICAL and never again achieved began, it was the first day of the WOODSTOCK FESTIVAL featuring 29 MUSICIANS who would play 226 SONGS over 4 DAYS. 90% of the over 500,000 attendees were SMOKING MARIJUANA, there were 18 DOCTORS who treated over 6,000 PATIENTS, there were 2 BABIES BORN, 100 ARRESTS for NARCOTICS CHARGES, over 400 who FREAKED OUT on BAD '___', there were 496 POLICE OFFICERS, there were over 500,000 HOT DOGS and HAMBURGERS consumed on the first day alone and over 250,000 who never made it to the festival as they couldn’t get in. It was HISTORICAL then and it is definitely HISTORICAL now. So Join me on a journey back into time…… to a time of PEACE, LOVE, SEX, DRUGS and ROCK and ROLL!

A special thank you also goes out to the OFFICIAL WOODSTOCK WEBSITE

This was a great day in music history....
Jimi Hendrix did a incredible improv with his Gypsy Sun and Rainbows Band or call them what ever you want
... Their first gig was on this day. The video is a must for any musician, I get chills from Jimi's creativity. Very kewl to watch him work with the bass player as well.

someone bumped Jimi off a year later, definitely a conspiracy in his death.....

Hey X.....

Yeah.... when Jimi died it was a sad, sad day indeed. There will never be another with his genius.
