Ok, I don't know if this has occured anywhere else, so yeah.

Where I live (30mins. North of Seattle WA.) in the summer theres
usually always alot of caterpillars, especialy the orange and black
striped kind.

However, over the last 4-5 years I've noticed a decrease.
The decrease is so much that in 2000 there were caterpillars
everywhere, I'd see around 10 on a bush, and now this summer,
I've only seen one, and it was next to death.

Now, I thought maybe it was because of people spraying pesticides,
but there has'nt ben any of that going on.

Anyway, I thought it was an odd occurence I'd report on.

Also, if you've noticed a similiar occurence, please do post the details
about it.
