The 'Big One' is coming!

Japan known for its earthquakes, is bracing for the 'Big One' which could come any day now with a magnitude approaching 8 on the Richter scale. That would possibly mean destruction on a wide scale.

Nearly one million people across Japan have taken part in drills to prepare for a major earthquake, in an annual exercise joined for the first time by US and South Korean authorities.

A mini doomsday scenario is being played out in Japan. But what about California?

California has been perparing for its "big one" since i was a little girl there. Earthquake drills were common, and especially after the 89 quake in Loma prieta and the Northridge Quake in 94, Im quite sure everyone is in the big game of taking major cautionary measures.
