The question that gets us all in confusion, what came first the chicken or the egg?

while parasite made his interpretation on chickens eggs he never stated 'chicken' eggs so the first chicken would come from another egg. However as was noted by Apass inside the egg was the first chicken so therefore both could be argued.

It is a trick question. To find out which came first you don't need to go looking through evolution and development of the ofspring. You need to reword the question. Who owns the egg, the adult or the child? Does the adult for laying it or the child for being devoloped in it? If the adult owns it then the chicken came first. If the child owns it the egg came first. Now the question is who owns it? It could also be reative too. The answer may be determind from point of view. In this case both answers are right. From the adults point of view the chicken came first and from the childs point of view the egg.

The answer is really quite simple.

Reptiles existed long before warm blooded animals and reptiles lay eggs.

The egg came first.

Now i'm trying to figure out how a reptile gave birth to an egg that produced a chicken and if her husband filed for divorce over the matter

You know, stuff like this could drive us all nuts....
