Enhancing knowledge thru Travel

My buddy and I just went to Tokyo, Japan (in the spring) to visit his brother and a friend of mine.

The culture, people, atmosphere are sooo much different than the USA... I'm from Seattle.

I encourage everyone to travel outside of "what they are accustomed to." If we ever want to build a better world, one way to start is to learn things about eachother's way of life.

Has anyone had a pre-conceived notion about another country or culture... but when you got there you realized you were totally wrong!
