Helicopter Hovered My House Today

I'm from D.C. and helo's overhead is a common site, while I agree that it looks like a military helicopter simply because of the refueling boom....Google Earth the areas that are around you...Ft. Bragg and Ft. Campbell.? By now seeing choppers overhead should be common place for you. Ft. Bragg and Campbell tend to have common areas of interest. For you to see a military-esque chopper should be commonplace.

P.S. I thought I should mention the close proximity of Camp Lejeune and Pope AFB to where you are. Marine base number one at Lejeune and Night Stalker Central (as in the best Chopper pilots this country have ever fielded) are almost as close.
