All the speculations on the Hezbollahs successful attacks on Israeli could be incorrect, and while various media sources attempt to create an evil Russian/Iranian/Syrian axis, the fact of the matter is just as it always been, corporate interest.

Here are the facts;

LONDON — Iran has obtained advanced military global positioning systems from Germany.

The systems were designed for use on unmanned aerial vehicles, several of which were supplied by Iran to Hezbollah during its recent war with Israel.

German prosecutors said Iran established front companies that procured satellite navigation systems for unmanned aerial vehicles. The prosecutors said the GPS significantly enhanced the UAV payload.

It is still unkown what exactly struck the Israli ships, but considering these new facts, it is vary possible that Hezbollah might have sucsesfully used GPS guided UAVs against ships.

Initial reports on the strike do mention the sighting of UAVs right before the attack.

It's not surprising to me at all, it's just that in light of recent events and possibility of a total war with Syria/Iran, such capabilities can not be overlooked.

What if it's not just two ships are damaged, but a number of ships are sunk? The cost of war has to be considered before drumming up another one.

Wrong. Not Germany sold them, it was private businessmen acting against export regulations.

And if you bothered to read the article it wasnt even germans who exported them to Iran, it was Iranians IN Germany.

Thanks for these words of wisdom but have you any sources to substantiate your claim that France and Germany were selling chemicals to Iraq during GW1.

France contrbuted 18,000 military personnel to GW1.
