Burning Flag

flagburning should not be made illegal..unless it's not in a controlled environment. symbols are symbols. yes what they stand for can carry high emotion but thats for an individual to decide. if i were christian, i would take more offense to bible burning than as an american watching the flag burn.

It's a piece of cloth. Hello? Hello? It's a piece of cloth. No animals and no civilians were harmed in this flag-burning.

Personally, I think the invasion of countries and littering their landscapes with unexploded munitions and toxic depleted uranium is far more offensive than burning a piece of cloth, and I think that this is a quite sensible perspective on the matter. Obviously people are free to take other views, but I wouldn't lock them up for it.
