U.S. vs Iran??

In response to the early posts in this thread mentioning China, the posters might want to consider reading "Unrestricted Warfare" by PLA Colonels Qiao Liang & Wang Xiangsui. Its readily available on Amazon for cheap.

Ok everyone lets think about what were talking about. We are focusing on USA vs Iran.. In the Iraq war we are not fighting an army we are fighting terrorist that fight in civilian homes. If we fight against Iran it will be a more conventional war. If we come face to face against their jets they have no chance. As the saying goes whoever control the skys controls the grounds. Our artillery is much better than their. We are by far more technologically advanced then Iran.(not just Iran but the World) Our ground force is much better equiped and trained then them. The only real challenge we can face from then is the war on the ground because the numbers of troops they have. That may not even be a challenge because again we are better trained and better equiped. The bottom line is, is that Iran cant win a war against the U.S we are by far the best military in the world. A war against Iran is not like a war in Iraq

Actually, it is exactly traceable to the country/plant and reactor.

Each uranium purifying / plutonium creating device has a very specific radiation signature.

A bomb from Russia would be traced back to Russia within days.

Of course, they can always claim it was stolen, but I doubt it would be a good enough excuse.

Don't bet on it, don't forget that Iran was amongst the first to use suicide bombers during the Iran/Iraq war in the 80's and do you really think they haven't learned anything from the shambles we have made in Iraq? And as far as the Tech goes don't forget not only are they buying equipment from the Russians but also the Chinese who intern have been buying US based tech from the Israeli's There were stories during the Israeli invasion of Lebanon a year or more ago that some of this equipment that had been supplied by Iran to Hezbollah had allowed them to jam the Israeli warship's targeting/defense systems and it was this that allowed Hezbollah to hit them with missiles.
