I'm thinking of choosing Peak Oil as the subject to talk about the whole semeseter for my speech class. Are there any good books that are in favour of the Peak Oil theory and in contrast any good books that slam the peak oil theory?

The reason I ask, is of course the ATS community is one of the most knowledgeable around, and very well read.

Screw books about Peak Oil, clearly we have plenty of cheap oil thanks to Shale's "In situ conversion" method of extracting petroleum from "oil shales". Canada is dealing with their own issues in the similar "Tar sands".

Together there is far more Oil than the world ever needs.

End of story (research yourself start with Rand Corporation's reports).

Do a search in Amazon, then type "Peak Oil Book" and "Anti-Peak Oil Book' in Google first.
