A Lebanese man has been arrested in Lebanon who is suspected of planting a bomb on a train in Germany. The Man is identified as twenty year old Jihad Hamad. Hamad is just one of two men the German authorities believe tried to bomb trains in the cities of Dortmund and Koblenz. Both bombs were in suitcases and made with propane tanks and simple detonating devices, both failed to explode. The other suspect twenty-one year old Lebanese man, Yousser Mohamad was arrested in Kiel while attempting to flee Germany.
The prosecutor's office said Hamad, who had been hunted by German federal police in recent days, had turned himself in to authorities in Tripoli.

"Based on our understanding, he has since been taken from Tripoli to Beirut," prosecutor Rainer Griesbaum told a news conference in Karlsruhe.

German investigators believe both men, who were filmed by security cameras dragging the suitcase bombs onto trains in Cologne, are part of a broader terrorist organization.

Lets all give thanks for small blessings since both of the devices did not explode. Second it is a good thing both the locations have the video surveillance Of coarse if the bombs did explode the video surveillance would do nothing to save the people who were using the train, but would help to identify the people who were getting on. It is being said that both men are part of a larger terror organization, so perhaps now that both men are captured the larger organization can be discovered before there are more attempts to kill any more people.
