Israel would have attacked Iran next year only if it had won against Hezbollah.

Now, Israel faces too much of a threat from an enemy that has shown it is quite powerful enough to take on Israel.

Even if US launches military strikes on Iran, Israel will be in danger
of a long war with Hezbollah, a war that we now know that Israel is not
going to win. Hezbollah is waiting for such an oppertunity to
fully smash Israel. It has already shown its capabilities of
successfully taking on Israeli army, which was unable beat Heabollah in Lebanon.

In second round of the war with Israel,
Hezbollah has not much to lose. Israel has everything to lose.

Lets not kid ourselves here...Israel would have DEMOLISHED Hezbo if it had sent in about 150,000 soldiers backed up by tanks and air power right off the bat. Israel used a fraction of its fire power and manpower against Hezbo...the reason people perceive that Israel "lost" that conflict is because they didnt do everything they could to win it. They didnt even really try at all.

Indeed. That fly that eluded my swatting a few days ago and escaped through the window didn't exactly "win", although I'm sure he said that to all his friends...

Oh yeah Hezbo demolished Israels rep as far fighting goes because there are a lot of ignorant people who dont understand that Israel could have destroyed them but didnt basically because of their misconstrued leadership. Unfortunately there are actually folks out there that think Israel just fought an all out war against Hezbo and lost because they couldnt beat them LOL. They fail to recognize the other factors.

This is exactly what happened. Once again, a war run by politicians instead of generals ended up being a fiasco.

Factors such as the involvement of Iran and Syria, and unfortunately what I see as a failure of Israeli intelligence to prewarn the military. I still can't figure out how that happened.

"A senior official in Teheran said Wednesday that in the next few days, a "surprise" was expected regarding Iran's nuclear program, Al-Jazeera reported."

This article being used as 'spin' is pure poppycock. Iran has no nukes and plans to enrich uranium for their own quality of living. What surprise might they throw at us now, terror light bulbs?

LOL their own quality of living? If that is true, why not let the IAEA do their job? Why turn back inspectors? If they have nothing to hide and this is for "qulaity of life", then they sure are doing a poor part of convincing folks otherwise. That isnt spin, thats what has been reported in the news all over theo world inclugdng Iran's news outlets.

Considering that Israel is seen as one of the world's largest terrorist states, and have hundreds of nukes; have no treaty with the US to contain their borders, have attacked the USS Liberty, are guilty of coutless war crimes, are not an ally of the US yet get billions of our tax dolalrs and tons of military aid, why should Iran even care about it?

The weapon inspectors found nothing in Iraq and these clowns in the White House still pushed the envelope. Iran has never said they plan to nuke the West anyhow.
