Why do poeple think orbs are ghosts?

orbs are dust particles.when they are near the objective,they are blurred and bright because of the flash.

not ghosts....

take a digital camera.tell a friend to shake a a dusty cardboard and take pics with flash and you will see the same effect.

I've taken pictures of orbs and they're perfect hexagons, with only 3 showing up in the picture that I took. Are you telling me that all 3 orbs were dust particles and the dust was able to create a perfect hexagon due to the flash in each orb?

Oh, for your information- I don't necessarily believe orbs are spirits. I just don't think that dust is their origin.

They're just small water drops on the camera lens. The light diffracts when going through the water and they appear as multicolored blobs. The hexagonal shaped ones are a result of light diffraction also. Ever seen a lens flare? It's hexagonal. No paranormal phenomena here...

that makes my hair stand on end ..check it out
maybe its something you will get into..Thats where the treal answer will come from Real Scientific research

In some cases, your explanation fits just well; However, not always. I agree that digital cameras are not very reliable. My first orb photographs were taken with a 35mm. The orbs are on the negatives as well. People have videoclips where moving orbs are clearly seen. I highly doubt those orbs are the result of flying dust.

And none of those have anything to do with "orbs."
