nice find. This is especially intriguing:

"In searching the general vicinity of the wreck, we believe we have also found a part of the object that the F-89 collided with."

"In searching the general vicinity of the wreck, we believe we have also found a part of the object that the F-89 collided with. We are still in the process of documenting the mystery object." Jimenez declined to elaborate on what the object is. "There is still a lot of wreck site forensics to complete" he said.

Another twist in the tail? I wonder what the mystery object could be?

If you posted first then this is the thread where it should be discussed IMO.

Your post also included a link to your source.

Interesting,

I think withholding information regarding the believed collision artefact is a mistake. They should release information regarding it immediately, while clearly stating that it may or may not be a collision artefact or artefacts.

The jet was found in one piece, but the thing it collided with lost pieces?? If what it collided with was a UFO, then that UFO isn't very strong... Although I hope they release their findings very soon before they 'disapear' ..

October, unfortunately you did not post this subject first
Look at the posted dates.... I think there is some guidelines about posting on ATS... I dunno, probably would help if you did a search before posting. But don't worry, you are only the 100th person to do something like that this month.

The Canadian government wont let them near the site without a coast guard escort. Im sure the U.S. government has some behind the scenes strings to pull here too.

Is this the only F-89 to go down over Lake Superior? If so, then its most likely Moncla's jet.
