The economy of Singapore is hardly finished as it has ventured into brand new forays such as the bio-tech sector and tourism including what will be
the world's most expensive resort and casino. I personally think that they're on a roll despite heavy competition from the likes of Malaysia, India,
and the United Arab Emerates. Here is proof of this ultra sophisticated player in the global economy and their vehement refusal to slow down:
- Singapore ranked 3rd most competitive economy in Asia
- A CNET blog about the new Biopolis complex
- Science Haven in Singapore
- Sands wins bid to build Singapore's "integrated resort"
