US government staff & military confirm aliens and UFOs are real

"The truth is here" - as quoted in this video

This runs about two hours, as a heads up. Grab a soda and a bag of popcorn, it's a long one. It seems to be intended as a presentation of the truth (disclosure project) by over 400 military personnel with Secret or above status as well as government officials regarding ufo's and extra-terrestrials present at the National Press Club conference. Over twenty speakers make up this presentation. One person who speaks worked at Groomlake Test Facility (Area 51). They give specific dates, places and names. There's an interesting explanation as to why we're not using clean energy despite having the technology (with faster than light travel & anti-gravity) and that cataloged aliens are humanoid. The presenters have video, documentation, testimonies, etc. with them. Inclusive within this testimonies are accounts of ufo's disabling ICBM's containing nuclear warheads. Included also are the details on recovering extra-terrestrial bodies from a man who did that job...and they all say, "these statements are true and I'm willing to testify under oath in a congressional hearing".

Youtube as a lot of interesting videos when you search the topic of ufo's.

I don't know the people in this video and would like perspectives on them and the evidence/proof they're submitting. They seem to be spending a lot of time and energy into presenting their case and putting a lot on the line (they can lose their license to practice medicine or law if their sworn statements are found untrue). I'm also curious as to what came of this and will try to look into it.

Weird that it was added to youtube August 17 (5 days ago) and this is the first I've heard of it. What do you make of that?

Its an old story this pressclub thing happened in 2001 as far as i know 20 to 25
Press-people where there so you would think after it the papers should be full of this event and the UFO issue
But what happened was 1 or 2 news agencies wrote about in 2001, that was all.
But approx.1 Mill. people on the internet saw the event live.
Interesting was, that the first hour was electronically disturbed by NSA-"asses"
But that missing hour is now still available because they recorded it.

According to the terms and conditions of ATS (which coincides with my moral dedication to God), I will not state/post something that's knowingly false. Simple test in that case. If I am posting it knowingly false, I'll be banned and the thread will be closed (rightly so, I'd not want it any other way). I tried to be as careful in my wording as possible in making this thread to not say things like "Aliens are real!" or "UFO's are piloted by extra-terrestrials!" because I don't know either of those for a fact. The people in the video are claiming they are facts and will sign a sworn statement under oath to that effect in front of congress. But, to answer your question, the video appears to be real. We could make a project out of it and take down the names of the people involved and do some more research for further validity. It sounds like there's a whole lot more to this story. This feature seems to be the beginning announcement.

Don't get me wrong, i dont think your lying. I know the video is real, but im just wondering how something like this has passed so quietly.

Sure thing, I'm glad it sounds like there's as much excitement here as I had when I was listening to it. Youtube audience members don't seem as interested with comments like these:

I guess because we live in the "instant generation" . I watch a lot of news, so listening to people talk about a very interesting subject is more interesting than a Pink Floyd lightshow. But...I do like Pink Floyd lightshows too

Sorry this is nothing new. It's been discussed countless times. There is or was a direct link to the Disclosure site which is of better quality. Why no enthusiam? - why has it died down? Extraordinary claims require Extraordinary evidence = Not going to happen.

Unfortunately any number of excuses have been bandied about as to why these people sit on their hands instead of presenting their hard evidence. Being that Dr. Steven Greer is in charge, it would have to be money related. The truth is out there, you'll just have to pay people like him to tell you that he really can't.
Dr. Steven Greer sells books and you can do a search here for some of his "Interesting" excerpts. For me Greer as a class A Charaltan intent on telling people what they want to hear, perpetuating falsehoods, all for personal financial gain.

Regardless of their backgounds, these are mostly about talking and not offering anything more than people who are enthusiastic about UFOs and Aliens in this forum. If anyone of them has physical evidence - please let me know which one clains this.

Please note that one of the claiments that says they would testify claims that Burt Rutan had a UFO blueprint hung on his wall. Burt Rutan is the man behind Scaled Composites which made Spaceship One. A man with big dreams and allot of integrity. All one has to do is email him to help corroborate the UFO blueprint story.

In the meantime it will be another protracted excuse as to why not and more books to keep his account solvent.

The biggest threat to UFO's and Aliens has nothing to do with any government. It's the insipid scammers out to make a buck.

But i strongly recommend everybody to watch it all. It's one of most amazing moments DP had.

You really think that a man would give up a 250k work, to try to sell a few thousand books on a very fragile subject,... I woudn't be so quick into taggin Dr Greer into charlatan. Please, do some more research before putting such mark on a man.

Once more, don't be so quick to jump on conclusions. Do your research, and stop relying on other's people to decide for you what's right or wrong. Make up your own mind. That's the trap a lot of ATSers fall into.

Remember, a lot of people out there are really not happy with what Dr Greer is saying or said during the National Press Club Conference.

I love how people take position and start demanding physical evidences. When we all know half of them would wet their pants if they would encounter an ET. And the other half would have their Shutgun loaded and ready before even knowing what they want from us.

You people want proofs, but you are not willing to make the effort to look for them. You are quick to blame people when they take more 5 years to develop on the subject when you know very well it's a very complicated subject that doesn't have much support from our Goverment and Media, if none at all.

It rings true what they all say, as as for G Bush senior being in on it does not suprise me. What does suprise me is that the president let him get away with it.
