Is it just me, or is anybody else getting really annoyed by all the threads, that proclaim that the world is going to end on another day?
:bnghd: Its driving me crazy, looking at a different thread every week almost, claiming how the worlds going to end on a certain day! I am getting Fed up with it!

mod edit:

ABOUT ATS: General ATS discussion etiquette (review link)
4) Most of all, do not use ALL CAPS in posts and thread titles.

As the time draws near, the fervor will grow in preparation from the prediction that a terrorist attack will occur, perpetrated by our government, due by the end of October. Be sure to thank Alex Jones.

On the brighter side, this is what I recommend: Don't worry, visualize happy thoughts, and be sure to catch the reviews from the End of the World Gala, hosted by our very own NERDLING in ATS! The cake was excellent, the bumperstickers insightful, and the strippers didn't make it very long into the show before they were escorted out!

Hope you feel better after the rant though, it can be stressful at times on here, I can be an example of that. However, we both know it is a great trade for what we get out of the site!

There is a simple solution to your problem

Any thread[s] that start with, or name a date.... don't go there. That's one nice thing about ATS...no one forces us to read threads that we may find intolerable. Personally... I think the date threads are interesting, however I find other subject matters less interesting! The date threads keep me on my toes, and keep my house stocked with essential supplies, because you just never know? The threads that I don't care for.... are the threads I stay out of. It is important to remember though, one persons trash, is another persons treasure. There are always going to be threads that we don't personally like or find an interest in, but because we are all different there is a market for every interest. I guess that's what makes the world go round

Peace to you.
Jen

You're looking at it in the wrong way. You should grasp the opportunity to go "all out" the day before each "Armageddon"... You know get drunk, get laid, do stuff you wouldn't normally do... And then the day afterwards you can just say you won't be held responsible for your actions because you thought the world was going to end... Oops!
