I wonder sometimes about if this forum is responsible for saving the lives of countless first-worlders at the hands of the NWO(not saying that I even believe in an NWO though Im sure higher ups knew 9/11 was going to happen in advance)

I mean because of us and our relentless pursuit of truth and sometimes humor we scare back the decision makers, they cant very well act on a day that is already suspicious to the truthseekers and forknowledge is so well documented.

So to that if we come out alive after today with no terrorist acts I say we party to us to the members of ATS for maybe preventing an atrocity happening to first-worlders.

(my use of first-worlders is to seperate from the fact that in places like somalia, palestine, israel and other less fortunate locations they have cataclysmic days regularly and most likely today will not be an exception to the mayhem they have to face)

Well, that does sound like a plan! But, seriously, that's one thing I never understood, if somebody predicts that something is going to happen and they specify a date and time, then what time zone do we go by? Should it all be based on a biblical time? Maybe from Israel? Or should we use the US? Any other ideas on what all predictions are based on? Nostradamus has made many great predictions right? Well, what time zone did they use for his predictions??

In the year 2525
If man is still alive
If woman can survive they may find

In the year 3535
Ain't gonna need to tell the truth, tell no lies
Everything you think, do and say
Is in the pill you took today

In the year 4545
Ain't gonna need your teeth, won't need your eyes
You won't find a thing to chew
Nobody's gonna look at you

In the year 5555
Your arms hanging limp at your sides
Your legs got nothing to do
Some machine's doing that for you

In the year 6565
Ain't gonna need no husband, won't need no wife
You'll pick your son, pick your daughter too
From the bottom of a long glass tube, whoa-oh

In the year 7510
If God's a-comin' He oughta make it by then
Maybe He'll look around Himself and say
Guess it's time for the judgment day

In the year 8510
God is gonna shake His mighty head
He'll either say I'm pleased where man has been
Or tear it down and start again, whoa-oh

In the year 9595
I'm kinda wonderin' if man is gonna be alive
He's taken everything this old Earth can give
And he ain't put back nothin', whoa-oh

Now it's been ten thousand years
Man has cried a billion tears
For what he never knew
Now man's reign is through

But through eternal night
The twinkling of starlight
So very far away
Maybe it's only yesterday

In the year 2525
If man is still alive
If woman can survive, they may find

In the year 3535

These questions are way to complex. It's 1:30 in the AM here. I say go with the time zone in Israel. Midnight there is about 1 PM here I think. I should be awake again by then. I generally am able to pick my head up off the desk by lunch break.

If I could..I would happily take a trip over to "lovely" Israel. But, I need to be at work in the morning...sorry! Maybe we could get some people from all over the country to write in periodically and post happenings? Blah

I changed my avatar early to show that my glass truly is half full. It's 2 AM August 22nd ATS and all is well here. I'll now pass the ball to the European and East Coast crowd while I get some sleep and dream nice dreams of mushroom clouds.

Well, since we're all still here, going off to work and school, etc.
I thought I post the song of the day:

Pressure pushing down on me, pressing down on you, no man ask for
Under pressure, that burns a building down
Splits a family in two, puts people on streets

It's the terror of knowing what this world is about
Watching some good friends screaming... let me out!
Pray tomorrow, takes me higher
Pressure on people, People on streets

Chipping around, kick my brains round the floor
These are the days, It never rains but it pours
People on streets, People on streets

It's the terror of knowing, what this world is about
Watching some good friends screaming... let me out!
Pray tomorrow takes me higher, higher, higher
Pressure on people, People on streets

Turned away from it all, Like a blind man
Sat on a fence, but it don't work
Keep coming up with love, But it's so slashed and torn
Why, why, why?
Love, love, love, love

Insanity laughs under pressure we're cracking
Can't we give ourselves one more chance?
Why can't we give love that one more chance?
Why can't we give love, give love, give love?
Give love, give love, give love, give love, give love?

Cos' love's such an old fashioned word
And love dares you, to care for people on the edge of the night
And love dares you, to change our way of caring about ourselves
This is our last dance, this is our last dance
This is ourselves, under pressure
Under pressure, pressure

Kiss good-bye the nuclear arsenal

Search for medicine
Pray for shelter

I'll kill myself
I'd rather die
If you could see in the future
You'd know why

Being depressed and apocalyptic under the Reagan/Mulroney years was hip back then. Which brings to mind Frankie Goes to Hollywood with "Two Tribes".

Hello Everyone... You all seem to be in a panic and in the midst of much ado about nothing.

Whilst you are running amok like chickens with your legs cut off, we are here at the Copa Cabana, partying iwth Barry Manilow. Mr. Manilow sends his warmest, laid back regards, hopes you are all well, and sends this little bit of philosphy.

Just One Voice,
Singing in the darkness,
All it takes is One Voice,
Singing so they hear what's on your mind,
And when you look around you'll find
There's more than
One Voice,

Singing in the darkness,
Joining with your One Voice,
Each and every note another octave,
Hands are joined and fears unlocked,
If only
One Voice
Would start it on its own
We need just One Voice
Facing the unknown,
And that One Voice
Would never be alone
It takes that One Voice.

Ba ba ba da da da da,
Ba ba ba ba ba ba da da da,
Ba ba ba ba ba ba
It takes that one voice

Just One Voice
Singing in the darkness,
All it takes is One Voice,
Shout it out and let it ring.
Just One Voice,
It takes that One Voice,
And everyone will sing!

So, perhaps if every one would simply get into a Kumbayah mode, begin to hold hands and sing, we might make it through the rain.

Now how about a little R.E.M.?

Its the End of the World as we know it

That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes, an aeroplane -
Lenny Bruce is not afraid. Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn -
world serves its own needs, regardless of your own needs. Feed it up a knock,
speed, grunt no, strength no. Ladder structure clatter with fear of height,
down height. Wire in a fire, represent the seven games in a government for
hire and a combat site. Left her, wasn't coming in a hurry with the furies
breathing down your neck. Team by team reporters baffled, trump, tethered
crop. Look at that low plane! Fine then. Uh oh, overflow, population,
common group, but it'll do. Save yourself, serve yourself. World serves its
own needs, listen to your heart bleed. Tell me with the rapture and the
reverent in the right - right. You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright
light, feeling pretty psyched.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

Six o'clock - TV hour. Don't get caught in foreign tower. Slash and burn,
return, listen to yourself churn. Lock him in uniform and book burning,
blood letting. Every motive escalate. Automotive incinerate. Light a candle,
light a motive. Step down, step down. Watch a heel crush, crush. Uh oh,
this means no fear - cavalier. Renegade and steer clear! A tournament,
a tournament, a tournament of lies. Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives
and I decline.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

The other night I tripped a nice continental drift divide. Mount St. Edelite.
Leonard Bernstein. Leonid Breshnev, Lenny Bruce and Lester Bangs.
Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly bean, boom! You symbiotic, patriotic,
slam, but neck, right? Right.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine...fine...

(It's time I had some time alone)

Ratz, I am late! Dang anonymous senior Whitehouse official failed to leak my doomsday invitation on time.

I see the "space ark" project in the backyard got as far as painting stripes on a cardboard box.
