Why do people do what they do...

I find it really sad that humans seem to do only things that hurt themselves and each other. Criminals prey on the young and innocent. People in the upper tier of society seem to # all over those who are lower than they are. people of faith are set up to destroy one another. Just makes me sad and sick, each and every person has just one shot at this life and should live his/her life accordingly not by hurting and oppressing other but by being good to each other. I'm sorry if this post doesn't belong but thats just what i wanted to say at this moment.
