Lol this is reason enough for me to buy this game!

Activision announced that Snoop Dogg, the Dogg Father of hip-hop, is an unlockable, playable character in the company's upcoming True Crime : Streets of L.A. videogame

That there is the single reason I will never try that game.

Why is that? You are suppose to solve crimes in the game.

He is just an unlockable hidden chr.

Because I hate everything about snoop dogg, and don't think he should be in a video game. And will not support any game that he is in.

I think it's an absurd reason to not play just because he is a rapper.

if you played GTA3 they had a rap station...

I like rap though.

to each their own.

but they say don't judge a book by it's cover.

I boughtthe game and its fun. The lead is an Asian guy teamed with a Hispanic girl. There's rap music (old and new) throughout the game. Its just a fun game. I couldn't get into GTA b/c it just felt evil. So, no I didn't buy Vice City---maybe I'll get it used.

While I personally will lead the revolt against "znit" and "izzle" being at the end of every word....it does look rather comical...

Snoop is such a poser though, hehe... He's actually, get this, a very intelligent man (if you've ever seen him in pre-fame interviews), and is quite eloquent... His ghetto is all act...and Mr. Shizzle my Nizzle had definitely got game!

of course it's an act, he is an entertainer

Yes, but I think that many of his detractors, would be quite surprised to learn how intelligent he is...

I'm not a fan of his...but he's a bright guy...

Yes, and I've always been a fan of his, even moreso when I learned that he was man enough to raise his child all by himself. He took responsibility for making the boy, and now he raises the boy.

I don't like *modern* rap, but I always loved Snoop/Dre/Pac/Biggie. That was the "Golden era" of rap. Once Biggie and 2-Pac were shot, and Snoop went into self-imposed exile, you knew the genre died.

And it did.
