Israeli's seize hamas deputy PM

The BBC has announced that the Israeli's have seized Hamas's deputy PM linkeh am i the only one who believes that the Israelis and their masters in washington are intent on stirring up a total war/conflict in the middle east? surely at a time when Israel is on the back foot after a disasterous campaign they should be winding their necks in and letting things settle a little?

you would definatly think they would want to take a break and regroup. the whole world is in a funk right now though. any thoughts on what the possible backlash from this might be?

another stupid move by israel
abduct members of goverment and not a slight bit of condemtion from any nation,
while if any member of a israeli force is kidnapped that country is bombed the bleep out of great isnt it

considering they have also launched fresh raids in lebanon linkeh it really does seem like they are trying to draw other nations into this and imflame the whole middle east

It seems that Israel has been trying everything possible to destabilise Hamas.
First they sold huge amounts of arms to Fatah in June, in an attempt to instigate a Palestinian civil-conflict, and now they are attempting to arrest and remove the Hamas leadership.
