Many here have pointed out that some alien pics are "photoshopped".

I would like to get the alien debunker vs. believer opinions...

Let me ask you this: Has this picture been doctored? If so, why? If not, why not?

I looked at the image and this is all I could come up with regarding something that looked "alien".

If thats all you saw in the image, then to me it looks like there is no actual alien in the picture. It just looks like light and shadow in the background to me.

I do believe ETs are here and I do think there is at least one legitimate ET picture the public has seen. That being the Cumberland/Cumbrian Spaceman photo. The Ilkley Moor ET picture I also think may be legitimate, but its a bit too fuzzy to see much of anything in it.

This picture however does not appear to show anything extraterrestrial.

LOL, I'm sorry... this is NOT an alien picture. I should have been more clear!

There have been many UFO/Alien pictures that have been written off as fakes by ATS members.

I just want to see how credible the Alien/UFO debunkers really are in their photo analysis.

I want to know if you guys think that this picture has been doctored?

If so why? If not, why not?

Photos are not my speciality. Having said this, at first glance it seems his left hand may be cropped, and also the shadows cast by the person on the ground, and the shadows cast by the tree branches on the tree trunk seem they may be inconsistent. The shadows on the ground of some of the vegitation seem to place the light source behind the guy, while his own shadow seems to place the light source infront of him to his left.

But, admittingly, i am a lay person with regards to analyzing photos and picture cropping, and digital analysis. None of it is really my cup of tea.

Other than that the guy's shadow seems to be missing his crotch area (maybe he's really bowl-legged), and some difference in the reflection of the tree with the naked branches in the distance at right, I can't spot any possible fakery.

Then again, I'm no photo analyst.

Then again, the shadows on his left knuckles do look awfully sharp as compared to his neck/arms etc..

EDIT: As far as his shadow goes, that's a rock. Nevermind.

EDIT: And what the heck is the deal with his shirt under his left arm? Hmmm.

The only thing I can spot is his hair, it does not cast a shadow, maybe I'm missing something, but it does not look real.
But like everyone above, I'm no photo specialist.

The grass under his left arm is out of focus and looks to be pasted in. The right edge (between the grass and water) and left edge (between the grass and shirt) look like straight lines.

I'm no photo expert (there are some here), but I am an artist, so I can look for things like light and shadow.

I don't see anything out of the ordinary with this photo. It's possible the fish is shopped in, but I'd need to have photoshop installed to see the diffusion around it to tell, but at a glance, the pic looks legit. My gut is going with no fakery here.

I never see more than the back of a golfer in this photo.

I would hazard a guess that the darker shadow is perspiration.

This is definitely a fake. No human can possibly be that ugly...

The EXIF shows it's been run through Adobe Photoshop CS, which doesn't lend to any purported authenticity.

I'm going on the presumption that there is some fakery here. I'm trying to find it.

Frith, could you post those pics you talk about?

I would hazard a guess that the darker shadow is perspiration.

But the "perspiration" stain seems to run of his shirt and into the grass just above his elbow.

What is EXIF?
