If you get Firefox, which I also suggest you do, go to Tools/Extensions click on 'get more extentions' and DL 'NoScript'.

You'll find it under 'Top Extentions'....Get 'FasterFox' also, increases speed quite well.

'NoScript' solved a lot of probs for me. It blocks scripts that cause vunerabilities and makes your browsing safer. A little extra work 'cause some sites will require you to allow scripts, especialy for videos and some graphics, but it's worth it.
