Hypnosis related to OOBE techniques?

I was looking into some techniques to induce self-hypnosis state and I found an e-book with some explanations and techniques to enter in a self-inducted hypnosis state of mind.
Reading, I started to realize that the methods presented in the book were the same (or at least VERY similar) to OOBE ones, which I've been researching for a long time, without results.

So, here is my question(s).
Are they the same? Can you make OOBE using hypnosis?

But self-hypnosis is often used in conjuction with techniques such as Scrying.

As I figure an OOBE acts as a disasociated throw of youe body image, so yes it does seem highly possible to throw astral doubles of your selves under self-hypnosis, everything counts down to a zero re-set as everything surmounts to the art of hypnosis, which is the art of metaprogramming and words. So yes, anybody can scry, you just to vivify your subconcious part-selves of your active imagination.
