NASA lost film of first moon landing?

I saw this headline today in the paper, and it made me wonder a lot.If the moon landing was faked, maybe it was in NASA'S interest to lose it ,maybe they were worried that if the film was looked at with modern day methods,and scrutinised close enough,flaws would be found.

This is my first post,and i havent found this news anywhere else on the site,but if i have goofed and its already been discussed,forgive me.
