Hi,

In the New Testament, God redefines who are the Jews that He is talking about.
Romans Chapter 2 specifically says that the Jew it is talking about is not one outwardly through circumcision, but is one inwardly in the circumcision of the heart.
Later, in the Epistles, the Apostle Paul talks about the Israel of God which is a spiritual Israel. Hebrews 12:22 talks about Zion as a city that cannot be touched with hands. He is not talking about present day Jerusalem here. The covenant with the physical Jews ended in 70AD (the end of that age) and they were broken off (Romans 11). God had planned that the second wife/bride, the church all around the world, would be the favored one (see book of Esther, Leah vs. Rachel, Manesseh vs. Ephraim). The symbolism in the old Testament is clear that this would happen and was planned. 2 Thes 5:16 says that "we know no man after the flesh" and another verse talks about the flesh profiting nothing. So, it is a major mistake to believe that the person of any country, any physical race at all, has any particular favor with God. 1 Cor 10:11 talks about how God allowed and planned those things that happened to the physical Jews for our (Spiritual Jews) admonition upon whom the ends of the ages are come. God only cares about those who believe Him and obey Him, period. When He says that "all Israel will be saved" most never make the translation to the New Testament dictionary when God redefine His terms.

Run far from the person that taught you this false trash.

This is Replacement Theology and false. God does not break his Covenant.

Jews are the "chosen people" because they wrote the Bible.
It is also called "taking the lion's share"

Its gonna be interesting to see what happens (if anything) in 2012, armageddon or Rapture,

First off....nothing is going to happen in 2012...that is pure bunk.

Second....THERE ARE NO CHOSEN PEOPLE. All 6+ Billion of us are God's people...and He DOES NOT prefer one group over another. It's ridiculous. When are you all going to figure out that we are all human beings and NO ONE is better than anyone else....including in the eyes of God!

I am so sick of "We are the chosen people" and "We are going to be saved"....blah blah blah......God doesn't work that way!

Not everyone is the same in Gods eyes!

Romans 9:11, Yet before the twins were born or had anything good or bad-in order that God's purpose in election might stand: not by works but by him who calls-she was told. "The older will serve the younger." Just as it is written: "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated." What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.

The Bible is filled with examples were God as chosen one over another.

God's rewards in heaven are not the same for us all. This is also in several places in the Bible. Example:

Matthew 6:1 "Be careful not to do your acts of righteousness before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

Remember God is the almighty in everyway; he is not to be questioned.

Romans 11:33

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! "Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?" "Who has ever given to God, that God should repay him?" For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever! Amen.

One last thing...

Homosexuals, races, age groups and genders stand together, but Christians do not because someone who does not even believe in God can make a simple comment and divide us like this.

1. How can Jesus be the king of Jews when the Jewish faith does not EVEN accept Jesus as the Messiah ?. You think the Jews would celebrate there king AKA christmas and easter ?

2. Why would God select out of everyone to be his "chosen poeple" the only poeple that deny's his only son ?

3. Last of why would God choose the Jews after they set his son up to be crucified ?

God chose Abram(Abraham) through whom He would start a group of people who were supposed to be different than the rest of the world. They were to shun evil and follow God, and by doing so other people outside of the Jewish line, would see how God operates and who He is, and they would want to follow God.

The exact opposite happened, the Jewish people wanted to be like the rest of the world and they were enticed to reject God and follow the world. (This is an overall statement but in individual lives both things occured. Outsiders came in and insiders came out.)

Their rejection shows us how great sin is. So following this rejection, Christ came to die for sin. Most Jews, or other people, didn't understand Jesus came on a spiritual mission first and now we are waiting for a physical return to rule. They wanted the physical rule without the payment for sin part.

The Jews aren't the only one who deny Jesus is the Savior, many people groups do.

Jesus was killed by Jews and the Romans. In other words Jews and gentiles, which are the only 2 groups who make up the entire world, so Jesus was crucified by the sin of the entire world, not just Jews. But He was voluntarily crucified as part of God's plan for the redemption of man.

So the crucifiction of Jesus was not an unplanned event that was not expected. It was fully used by God to bring the triumph over sin that destroys mankind. Now people can really be different than the rest of the world, through faith in Christ.

Okay...but the Bible is not the words of God, but the words of men. So why base one's life on the words of men if you are supposed to base it on what God believes?

God doesn't favor any group over another. That's what men do. God is above this nonsense.....someday you thumpers will figure it out....or maybe you won't....that's your problem.

I understand we are not to believe what the Bible teaches because it is the words of men. We are to believe you because your words are better than any man/women.

What does God believe? You must have a great source! I would not think anyone besides God could decide who he favors and what he is above, can you?
