Think about the financial situation of most US airlines. One could imagine the boost of revenue that they could recieve if no passengers could bring liquids on board.

I doubt any increase in per-person sale of liquids would offset the loss in revenue from lost ticket sales. :shk:

Only if they have started charging for water, soda, and coffee, because these are free. The only thing they charge for is alcoholic beverages.

plus you already couldn't bring outside alcohol on a plane(and drink it, not talking about duty free unopened liquor). so yes, it's a conspiracy to increase sales for an item they give away for free.
