Sure, why not. It would be a good place to discuss 'alternate' cars as well as conventional.....ATS might find having a car forum would draw a considerable number of new readers, those that normally go to other car sites.

I would just like to point out that the original idea for an automotive forum came from iori_komei:

I'm just a DISC member who assumed the job of promoting a member suggestion.

Change on the ATS consortium can be slow, but it does occur and if you have ideas that could benefit the site, here is the place to go.

I give it a big ole YES! YES YES! Let us car guys and gals and race fans alike have a place where we can do what we do best, and that is talk about cars. Besides this would be a great place to chit chat about the technology in auto racing today.

Everyone has one, every forum needs one. Besides it looks like there are plenty of people that would like to see it, and it would be nice as long as people use it right? Just my opinion of course. I just need to find out how to vote...or does this count as a vote? Not quite sure.

DS with every post, ATS is alittle bit closer to having an Automotive Forum. By simply posting here you have shown your support.

How many are we currently on? I think 6 pages of posts (most only a line or two) show a great deal of support for such a thread.. i'm quite eager to get it up and going!
