I am in favor of such a forum, and I never even intend to drive a car in my lifetime if I can help it. I simply see no reason not to have such a
forum, and it could be both informative and interesting even for those of us who have no enduring fascination with automotive technology or
engineering. Surprising things can be learned from any subject! Sadly, most people who have no personal interest in a topic will likely
refrain from voting in favor of something like this. I find that disappointing, personally. I for one believe there's something to be said for
lending your voice to a good - or even neutral - cause, even if it doesn't help you personally in any tangible way.
