If you want an Automotive Forum on BTS, please post here. Minimum wording will suffice. We need 1000 posts to accomplish this request.

Go!

Well soot. I am not driving right now; and despite my username I am not an Auto Mechanic. But I'll throw in my vote, as I know this has been requested by members for a long time.

Real monkeys drive trucks, not cars...

I'm in.

While we're at it:

Starve a terrorist... Feed a farmer...

Grease Monkeys, not just for lube, oil, and filter anymore...

I think it could be a great addition to BTS.
If there is enough interest to get the forum added, it could be a magnet to draw car enthusiasts to ATS.
And, why should ATS car junkies have to go elsewhere for their auto fix???

Maybe a Car & Truck forum...

Well I think "automotive" is broad enough to cover cars, trucks, and motorcycles.

Which is good because I'll need a place to brag about my Ninja 650R when I get it

1 more vote for a car forum..

I"m currently drooling over the Caterham CSR 260, and I've bored all my friends to death about it so maybe I can vent here..

Heck yes we need an automotive forum. Cars are part of our culture.

Yes I believe we should very well have the rivelage of a nice auto forum. It would be a wonderful place for us to discuss a wide variety of issues pertaining to them.

I vote yes too!!!!!
(especially if motorcycles are included
)

And here, just in case anyone cares are the different genre of auto's that I fiend over:
1.)Super sports cars (ex: Lamborghini)
2.)Sports Bikes (ex: Honda CBR 929)
3.)Classic Muscle (ex: '69 Camero)
4.)Street Tuners (ex: '93-'00 Toyota Supra)

Hmmm... now that I think about it, I should have just said anything that goes fast!

I vote YES.

That would be awesome. I'm an automotive enthusiast and am currently building up a little weekend warrior... I dont want to spill the beans yet... I'll save the thread for when the section goes up

Is America really ready to hear about the various ways that car companies rip us off?

are we really ready to hear about the ways that foreign cars are better than American?

I think so, so hell yeah, I am all for it...

I do worry that we will be overcome with gearheads though, so hopefully we can keep the auto conspiracy edge on ATS, and allow the more chatty auto discussion on BTS...

I think this is actually a great idea. I'm all for it. And I agree with DontTreadOnMe, why should we need to go somewhere else for 'car talk' when there are plenty of people right here!

And besides, if we go somewhere else and post, we don't get any ATS Points!

Seeing as how we’re oh, I don’t know, 900+ posts short of 1,000 count me in! Oh and BTW real monkeys don’t drive at all, they leap, run and or swing of course.
