Well soot. I am not driving right now; and despite my username I am not an Auto Mechanic. But I'll throw in my vote, as I know this has been requested by members for a long time.

I for one, would support an automotive forum. Especially with so many electronic
systems on today's vehichles.

I think it could be a great addition to BTS.
If there is enough interest to get the forum added, it could be a magnet to draw car enthusiasts to ATS.
And, why should ATS car junkies have to go elsewhere for their auto fix???

Well I think "automotive" is broad enough to cover cars, trucks, and motorcycles.

Which is good because I'll need a place to brag about my Ninja 650R when I get it

Heck yes we need an automotive forum. Cars are part of our culture.

Yes I believe we should very well have the rivelage of a nice auto forum. It would be a wonderful place for us to discuss a wide variety of issues pertaining to them.

1.)Super sports cars (ex: Lamborghini)
2.)Sports Bikes (ex: Honda CBR 929)
3.)Classic Muscle (ex: '69 Camero)
4.)Street Tuners (ex: '93-'00 Toyota Supra)

I think so, so hell yeah, I am all for it...

I do worry that we will be overcome with gearheads though, so hopefully we can keep the auto conspiracy edge on ATS, and allow the more chatty auto discussion on BTS...

I think this is actually a great idea. I'm all for it. And I agree with DontTreadOnMe, why should we need to go somewhere else for 'car talk' when there are plenty of people right here!

And besides, if we go somewhere else and post, we don't get any ATS Points!

Seeing as how we’re oh, I don’t know, 900+ posts short of 1,000 count me in! Oh and BTW real monkeys don’t drive at all, they leap, run and or swing of course.
