So, do we have to wait for someone else to post a quote,

Hey Semper...

Took me awhile, but I finally got around to one of your other threads...

If the folowing has been used before, I apologise, but I didn't see it while I was scanning
thru the pages...

I like to use this in a signature at another forum I moderate at, I can't tell you why
I like it so much, but I still do. It's from the cheesy movie "Buckaroo Banzai" (which by
the way had a great number of very talented stars in it. John Lithgow, Jeff Goldblum, and many more).

Buckaroo Banzai's quote;

"No matter where you go, there you are"...!

My lady friend who is looking over my shoulder right now just said: "Oh Brother" and then said, "Next you'll be sayin'... Help, I've fallin' & can't get up!"

Looking forward to your next 'muse podcast'..

These are my kind of quotes and proverb. Simply, easy, a little chessy, and funny. If you think I'm not good enough, get over it. I'm not a quitter, and I'm done with being pushed around too. For those not involved, enjoy wisdom with a laugh.
So here goes:

A fall into a ditch makes you wiser. - Chiness Proverbs.

--My life right now, some would say.

Another person's heart is a wilderness.-African Proverb

The hair of a hairy caterpillar, all of it causes itching.-African Proveb.

-- No need to repeat myself.

Hollywood's a place where they'll pay you a thousand dollars for a kiss, and fifty cents for your soul. I know, because I turned down the first offer often enough and held out for the fifty cents.
-- Marilyn Monroe

Half the people in Hollywood are dying to be discovered and the other half are afraid they will be.
-- Lionel Barrymore

The only 'ism' Hollywood believes in is plagiarism.
-- Dorothy Parker

You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, the Swiss hold the America's Cup, France is accusing the U.S. of arrogance, Germany doesn't want to go to war, and the three most powerful men in America are named 'Bush', 'Dick', and 'Colon'.
-- Chris Rock

Common looking people are the best in the world: that is the reason the Lord makes so many of them.
-- Abraham Lincoln --ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. I may be common myself, but I can pack a punch.

People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing.
-- Andrew Carnegie

--See, don't ever tell me what to do, when you do the same thing.

It is not enough to do your best; you must know what to do, and THEN do your best.
-- W. Edwards Deming

Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.
-- Winston Churchill

Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.
-- Albert Einstein

The road to success is always under construction.
-- Unknown (Told you so.)

The path of least resistance is the path of the loser.
-- H. G. Wells

God does not ask about our ability, but our availability.
-- Unknown (You know.
)

There are only two kinds of men - the dead and the deadly.
-- Helen Rowland

Don't let a man put anything over on you except an umbrella.
-- Mae West (That's true for some men, I've met. I don't hate men, but some deserve it, some don't.)

I love men, even though they're lying, cheating scumbags.
-- Gwyneth Paltrow (Not a sexiest, but I've met some that prove her right.)

One some certain people need to think about, funny how always use this one:

Crows everywhere are equally black. -Chiness Proverb

A book holds a house of gold.-Chiness Proverb

Sorry, it got personal the whole thing is just upsetting. Anyway, sorry.
