That made me laugh.

What a fantastic idea for a thread, well done semperfortis.

Here's one.

I am not only a pacifist but a militant pacifist. I am willing to fight for peace. Nothing will end war unless the people themselves refuse to go to war.

At the risk of seeming ridiculous, let me say that the true revolutionary is guided by a great
feeling of love. It is impossible to think of a genuine revolutionary lacking this quality.
We must strive every day so that this love of living humanity will be transformed into actual
deeds, into acts that serve as examples, as a moving force.

I like marching and marching in rank and file is the most fun.

It's an incredible feeling to be a part of a platoon of men, who can act and react as one single entity.

Of course, Einstein was speaking of political thought and action, but it's my opinion he should have said that more plainly, as it's such a simple thought that abstractions are unnecessary.

Of course, if everyone thought and acted as Einstein thought and acted, politically, that is, he'd've probably not thought that it was so contemptible.

For all his genius, Einstein really had a lot of personal problems, so unless the subject is physics, Einstein may not be the best source of insight.

For example, "'i' before 'e', except after 'c'," is not such hard grammatical rule, yet Einstein got it wrong twice in his own name.
