Well, the Dutch in general are very open minded and loose when it comes to sex, more than any other country that I know. So you may have been brought up in a very 'different' environment, or perhaps it's just you.

Very true. I was brought up in a household and family that was (believe it) better than the Ward and June Clever household. Very innocent and pure of heart, very good and godly people. I'm sure if I'd grown up with a mom and dad divorced with girls friends and boyfriends running around, one night stands and porn etc I'd have been less sensative to it.
True, I went through my wild years and the 70's and 80's were very much 'free love' years - and this wasn't an issue. It's only an issue when I commit myself totaly to a person who agrees to do the same and they renig. It is unfair and hurtful. And for the other person to say it don't matter or that there is nothing wrong with it is insane. It's a breach of commitment.

You can't impose your way on everybody else, and if you have an issue with our opinions here, it's your problem man.

This post wasn't supose to lead into this direction - but since it did, I'll only answer honestly. And all my anwsers in this thread are of my personal feelings and opinions. So I will hold my ground as far as making my point, and I am aware of the rest of the worlds opinions (for the most part). But no, I'd never impose my way of thinking on anyone - unless that person wants to be my spouce and I have already talked to them about these things and they agree and pretend to feel the same way. THAT person, I have a right to be upset with. I didn't mean to sound as if 'my way' is right and everyone else is wrong (although I do feel moraly, it is wrong - it's not about that). I'm just very heartful about this issue with one person right now.

And if something is better for you, or anyone else - I wouldn't complain - it isn't an issue in my life. But if MY partener suddenly leaps off the cliff - it is my issue. So each to his own, right or wrong, it don't matter to anyone but that couple. I mean - my husband, about 6 years ago started asking me to get a boyfriend and bring him home so he could watch, and other things the porn got him fantasizing about. Now before the porn - there was nothing I wouldn't do for or with him - so there was no fantasy I couldn't fullfill. But porn = new fantasies... often including other people, situations or things that are unhealthy and risky - not to mention, moraly wrong.

It would be like you marrying the love of your life and discovering 10 years down the road that she still has sex with and dates other men. Well - you'd be pissed! But what if she says that she don't see anything wrong with it and she was raised that way and that YOU have some phycotic problem that YOU need to get over. You'd probably want to put your foot up her (XXX). But instead you'd try to explain the hurt it causes and why you think it's wrong. But she sees nothing wrong with it - and unfortunatly, by the time this happens to you, the entire world thinks there is nothing wrong with it... so you have no leg to stand on because the world don't care about your principals, morals or beliefs.

Does all that make sense?

I'd love to tackle this in more depth.. but I'll keep it simple. You may realize what you want and claim any powers that you want, but that alone does not mean you are enlightened. It depends on the path you follow.. that of love and bettering yourself and growing towards the light, or darkness. It really cannot get any simpler. You act and talk like a man following the latter, caring not for anyone else besides yourself and your own narcisstic arrogance. Whatever progress you think you made is completely illusion my friend.

As for Angela's posts, I wholeheartedly agree. You words are truly in harmony with my soul. I think this whole thing is quite simple. I'm no hardline christian (at all) but we live our lives and our relationships through the heart chakra, whereas 99% of everyone else lives through their genital chakra. If that's best for them.. so be it..

I've been single forever... dunno why ... I like the quote 'I think therefore I'm Single'

I just figured it had to do with the path I'm on... its hard finding people who can put up with crazy quantum thinking and not-doing and inner-silence and all that great stuff...
I don't care, it just seems like more problems than I'm interested in anyhow

edit... oh god, being enlightened makes you want to kill stupid people and people who don't like learning.. I'm not saying I'm not stupid... the difference is I don't mind listening and maybe learning something.
I am a very blunt person and expect people to constantly understand what I'm saying... like teaching a child to get dress... I'd just tell the kid to put his coat on ... without explaining you have to put your arms in specific spots zip it up and all that good stuff (a parent would understand this better) ... but I don't give the steps or proof, I supply conjecture most times... or just things for people to find out on their own... most times people just ignore me... (much like online here...) but I don't care...

Well I don't think being enlightened makes you want to "kill stupid people". But there is an element of frustration, at times.

Yeh well it was a more direct way of expressing my frustration.. I haven't gone around killing people yet... lol

Honestly though, its hard when people just don't even care to understand... or desire not being brainwashed.. especially when you don't have a significant other to share in your frustrations..

You know - I can't help thinking about it (even if it's unethical and I don't do it...) But I'll be taking the last class and getting my state license for hypnosis come september. I meen... well, you know what I'm getting at. LOL!

I remember one of the hypnosis tapes was on the entertainment part of the field. They had a guy done at this event to where every time he had a sexual thought he slapped himself. The guy none stop slapped himself - I mean non stop. Every time a woman walked by, every time the conversations stopped for a moment and he had time to 'think', every time he looked around the room where women were present...

You know, I could really have fun with this if I were the kind of person to do such things.

I know. But I do get ideas... and just because I won't allow myself to do them... sometimes they are just so good I have to share them.

I can't tell you how many times I walk into the bathroom and tell Tony when he's in the shower, "I just want you to know that I thought about flushing the toilet".

(I also drive a school bus) - And I asked my boss if it was illegal to hypnotise children without parents consent. lol

They give me the worst of the worse (rough and long or hard to drive routes or really 'horrible' kids, busses that are near impossible to drive...

Now that is something that would annoy the heck out of me. Why can't people leave bathrooms as they found them?

True. Power is just a need of the ego. If you fall for this then you're not even close to being "enlightent". I do not claim to have powers that are not there nor do I train or use them for such mundane purposes. Their power and efficiency comes forth from another type of growth that most here don't even know about.

Just take the topic astral projecting for example. Many assume they can learn some paranormal gift af it is some esoteric trick like a monkey being taught a circus trick. Unfortunately they won't be able to do it and if they do it won't be anywhere near a fullblown experience of it because of lack of personal growth that is associated with it. This is also why meditation doesn't work for most people, because they don't know what it is ment for...no it isn't ment to quiet your mind. That is an end result after undergoing the rest of meditation.

Narcistic arrogance? That actually made me giggle. If people truly knew what they were and are capable of then they would see a lot more then they do know. Arrogance is not a part of it seeing it as a part of the ego and I'm not led by my ego anymore...I'm the one leading it instead. Narcistic yes, arrogant no, very self conciously aware yes. Even if you're only an armchair theorist then you would come to a similar conclusion.

Lately I just make this comparison. There is an iceberg at sea of which one third can be seen above the water surface. Mundane people scratch the surface with a stick, so called awakened people are busy exploring the ice above the water and I reached the point where I'm busy exploring the part that is hidden under water.

Love and light...pfft don't get me started on that noncense. It fits in the same catagory as manmade concepts like Good/Evil. As if they got an idea of what can be judged to be evil or good not even understanding that it is subjective
