I see the headline, but right now they are babling about yesterdays terrorist sweep.

They report that some buildings have been evacuated.

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - A strong earthquake was felt in Mexico City on Friday and some buildings were evacuated, witnesses said.

The tremor was also felt in the neighboring state of Morelos.

The strength of the earthquake was not immediately known or whether there were any casualties.

its a 5.9 "moderate".

just been confirmed on BBC news 24

Just saw on BBC that the quake was measured at 5.9.

Which is pretty moderate and not a major quake. There will probably be some damage, though, because alot of Mexico city's buildings are not in code and the city is very crowded.
