UFO forming crop circles caught on tape (the fake one)

I think this video is quite good. i don't see any sign of digital editing, and the "balls of light" is moving like the camera.

Hmmm not really sure on that one, it must be doctored in some way, maybe it's deliberately grainy but if real it's a really cool clip.

Actually, that is the "fake one".

He digitally added the "balls of light" and had a before and after shot of the field where he overlayed the "before" and disolved it away to show the "after".

Do an ATS search for Olivers Castle. This was labelled as a fake a while back (I believe the student who took/made the video had TV/video editing backgrounds).

Ah yes, the clasic mantra.

You've got a lot of balls making a one liner, claiming it's "not the fake one", providing no proof to back up your claim, and then asking someone else for "proof".

It was in a show on either the discovery channel or the national geographic channel.

If I'd taped it, I'd gladly send you a copy.

I'm sure there are other members here who've seen the footage as well though.

I found this interesting video-clip from the documentary by
National Geographic presenting how the Oliver Castle video was
made, featuring John Whaley a.k.a. John Wabe himself
demonstrating how they made the fake.

The Oliver's Castle video became worldwide famous in 1997
fooling many people including myself if I may say.

Looks like it was National Geographic, not Discovery.

Since this report was written, John Wabe was traced to a Bristol video production company, and caught. He since came clean about the video being a con, and is being prosecuted.

Past that, with this info you should be able to track down the National Geographic show and watch it yourself.

P.S. The title of the thread includes the phrase "not the fake one", "Show me the proof of that please", since you made the initial claim.

If it's "not the fake one" then it must be "real", so you prove it.

To me it looks like a grainy video of two people in white shirts forming the crop circles, and the footage has simply been sped up. Look at the trees swaying back and forth at the bottom of the screen. Swaying a bit fast don't you think?

Maybe it's fake then =P Why do people fake everything. It's really starting to get old.. very old...

And i called it the "not the fake one" because ther was another one that was obviously fake on the forum. I never said it was REAL did i? It's really irritating how people start to become little trolls when they "know" it's fake :/

I'd say it's "really irritating" when people make incredible claims, then ask for others to "prove" them wrong, and finally resort to name calling when the requested evidence is provided.
