there was a movie from 1994 called Roswell starring Kyle MacLachlan.

imdb.com...

the movie had a clip of "real" or non-movie footage in the intro and there was one clip that has always made me wonder. it was a shot of the space shuttle and behind an astronaut space walking there was a grey ball shaped object that took off really quickly. i've always wondered if this was a real clip or maybe they mixed it in with the actual footage. if anyone has seen this or as a copy please watch it and let me know. thanks

also come to think of it, i did see something after that about some sort of floating ball robot that nasa is or was developing. maybe?

I recall watching this around that time. I don't remember that scene though.

Was this the movie starring Dwight Yokam ? He's a good actor, but needs to keep the cowboy hat on !

Yeah, I've seen it. Long time ago though. I don't remember much except that it was made in correlation to someone's book and I was quite impressed. i was in Bulgaria at that time and they showed it on national television.

it was in the very beginning during opening credits.

i have been watching shows about ufos since i was a kid.(In Search Of was a favorite!) there were a few things that stood out and i haven't forgotten. that one clip from Roswell and there was another taken from a highschool football game or something where a streak like a meteorite flew across the sky and made an angular turn.

i'll have to get a copy of the movie and see.
