Wow thats funny, the head news article on BBC is

Israeli tanks push into Lebanon
Israeli armoured columns have moved into Lebanon heading for a town in the south, as Israeli operations continue.

Even Fox headlines state.

Israeli Forces Begin Major Push Into Lebanon
JERUSALEM — Israeli troops and armored vehicles began a massive push toward the Lebanon border late Wednesday, marking the start of a new ground offensive aimed at neutralizing Hezbollah's rocket-launching capabilities, FOX News has learned.

So i do believe this thread is quiet abit misleading, all i have seen stated about peace talks is on my local news, which said something aobut peace talks will start when U.N. forces are mobilized in Lebanon, but already the Hezbollah leader has stated that the peace treaty proposed is not acceptable.

The attacks are continuing with as much intensity as last week.

I think it means they are suspending the wider offensive (Ie: heading deeper into lebanon) and not the current offensive .

The news here just stated that they are getting ready to deploy more troops, mind you were a long way from the action and australian news can be a bit behind sometimes.

Okay here is another source...not from Australia.
