The part that fascinates me most is how Atlantis was supposedly destroyed by the misuse of crystals. The story goes that much if not all of the natural essence of a crystal was removed & then programmed to do damage. On a large scale, it ultimately destroyed Atlantis.

Nowadays, crystals are programmed/charged for healing & enhancing environmental conditions on a smaller scale. And this is done while keeping the natural essence of the crystal intact.

I suppose there is the potential to use them for negative purposes & develop this purpose on a large scale. One can only hope it doesn't happen making mythology a reality.
