thoughts becoming reality

Here's yet another example of thoughts manifesting in reality! Several years ago, while watching the greatly cropped execution of a mass murderer, it came to me that like the Romans, who thumbs upped or downed the fallen gladiator at the 'circus' forum we'd one day have the "privilege' (sarcasm intended) of voting via our tvs whether the death penalty was initiated or not.
