bodrul... with all due respect, Israel has certainly not flattened entire cities. Not to lessen the extent of the damage or the loss of life but that characterization is simply not accurate. To be sure, they have the capability to 'flatten' entire cities (and I'm not speaking of anything other than conventional weapons). They have chosen not to. If Israel was waging the kind of war that all the ATS armchair generals are accusing it of there would be tens-of-thousands dead at this stage. I'm not suggesting that I agree or disagree with Israel's tactics or necessarily condone its actions but simply stating fact. And I fear that Iran's motives are anything but pure.

your right

destroying bridges
no way for aid to get in or cuvilians to get out of harms way
destroying infrontstructure
destroying powerplants, factories ,boats and so forth causing billions dollors worth of damage which will take years to rebuild.
flawed intel
if you read the other topic about IAF piolets dilibratly missing targets because of flawed intell, killing countless cuvilians.

please dont call me a armchair genearl as unlike the true arm chair generals i dont preach a country to wiped out of to start war.
and there is a big diffrence between saying someone has the right to deffend them selves from others (hence my support for lebonen and hazbullah)

also if this isnt a full scale attack
look at the picture of the cities and how many building are rubble

what ever Irans motives atleast they are supporting lebonen by giving hazbullah something that can be used to deffend its self from israeli jets and helicopters.

Some questions and observations.

Amnesty International has condemned Israeli soldiers repeatedly for using civilians as shields. Why can they do it and Hisbollah can't? Are the Israeli special in any way that gives them some sort of right to do the unspeakable and get away with it?

Then, when a terrorist is hidding among civilians or has taken civilians hostage in a building or vehicule, what do you do?

A: Send in special ops teams to take out the terrorists to verify, identify and take out the terrorist, at all costs limiting civilian casualties?
B: Bomb the building, car, truck or just the entire area this terrorist is in?

I know that in certain cases of plane hijacking, when the plane is in the air and it is made clear that the plane will be used as a flying bomb and that there is no way to force it down peacefully, its permitted to blow it out of the sky. But only when the US President authorizes it.
But thats the only situation that ever warents this kind of action. The action when taken will still result in serious critisism from the public.

Last, some of these worst bombings with massive civilian casualties failed to produce any dead Hesbollah.
So Israel is either working on bad intel or bombing area's that are even remotely suspected of having Hesbollah in them, not caring if its correct or not.

Both which are no excuse for killing civilians asif their lives are worhtless.

One of the reasons to use Special Ops teams in these situations is to be able to verify and identify the target(s), which is imposible to do at 30000 feet pushing a button, releasing a bomb that will take out a city block.

But hey, like I said a million times, the Israeli goverment and IDF don't give a damn thing about Lebanees, Palestinian or any other lives other then their own.

They are hardcore racists that steal land, massmurder a people spread over such a long time it doesn't seem such a big deal, have agressivly invade and occupied all their surrounding country's trying to anex land, driving the indiginous people out of their homes and making their lives miserable and last but not least, have done so without halt during their entire time of existance.

No wonder more and more Jewish people distance themselves from everything the Israeli goverment and Israel itself stand for.
