Howdy folks,

CNN this morning posted a fairly lengthy article on the meteors found in 1996 with possible microscopic life from mars.

The debate rages on, seemingly the two NASA scientists that spear headed the study seem about the only two men in the scientific community who still believe that this meteor samples contain life.

I'm certainly not well read enough in science to say who is right and who is wrong, but I certainly hope these things end up containing some kind of life or true evidence of some kind of life.

Anyhoo, figured some here might want to read the article so here's a linky:

Just an fyi, happy reading.

A National Research Council panel concluded in 1998 that the blobs were 100 to 1,000 times too small to be free-living organisms because they couldn't have held all the proteins, DNA and other molecules necessary for even the simplest metabolic processes.

Could it have been some form of Alien virus?
Or is it too small for that..?
